Recently our hosting provider was doing some migration work on web sites hosted with them, including CrossStitch4Free.com. As a result, the cross stitch patterns that were posted on November 7 (Pisces FIsh, Cancer Crab and Thanksgiving Cornucopia) failed to restore — they were posted in the middle of the migration — and had to be re-posted back into the database.

How Do You Join?

We are Calling For Submissions to our first ever blog carnival which will be launched on December 1, 2008. All you need to do is submit one post containing one of your free cross stitch charts. Just one post per blog. Why just one? Because we would like you to keep the rest for the next blog carnival submission, that’s why :) Cross stitch charts that can be downloaded for free from your site, whether it be your latest design or ones from two years ago are all eligible to join the carnival. Submission deadline: Nov 31 2008.

Blog carnivals are a great way to increase exposure and backlinks to your blog. So participate often, and spread the word about this Free Cross Stitch Patterns Blog Carnival to your friends and cross stitch enthusiasts! The carnival is currently organized monthly, but if there is overwhelming support for this, we will consider organizing this more often, every fortnight or week.

Host the Next Blog Carnival and Increase Your Blog Visitors!

We are also looking for blogs owners who would like to volunteer to be the next Free Cross Stitch Patterns Blog Carnival host. Simply put, a host will collect submissions and organize them into a single article which is then posted on the scheduled date in his or her blog.
